The organisation aims to provide a safe and secure living and working environment for 80-90 intellectually challenged adults. Those people lack a support structure in their original communities. Main sources of income are disability grants of inhabitants and other subsidies (25%) and donations (62 %). Also income is generated by bakeries, vegetable gardens, selling dairy products and rent payment revenue (9 %). Camphil has a small dairy unit of about 35 cows. They sell milk, but also make yoghurt and other dairy products.

The organisation is looking for an expert able and willing to assist them in improving their dairy business. Mainly you will consult the company to find the most efficient way to run the dairy.

The person currently running the dairy is not a well trained expert on dairy. As a result, old systems continue to run, and they feel the dairy business is not efficient. The organisation would like you to assess the current situation of the dairy business, regarding equipment, production etc. You will work with the current team and train them.

They are looking for a professional with experience in the dairy business. As the organisation is trying to apply organic farming principles, it would be very helpful if you have some experience or interest in this field.

Also, to participate in an Expert Programme you need to have:
- at least five years of relevant working experience
- at least finished an HBO-education or have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Participation in this programme is on a voluntary basis. International travelling expenses are to be paid by the participant. SharePeople charges the participant a reasonable fee for which he/she receives matching, preparation, training (intercultural and safety) and work materials. However, the local organization facilitates full board & lodging and local transportation for the participant. Personal coaching by a professional coach is optional in this programme but comes with additional costs.
