ERSHA is an NGO that aims to expand sustainable livelihood alternatives for the rural poor. (75 employees, since 1997)
They build capacity of communities by providing training on alternative livelihood, food security, access to social and financial services, advocacy and infrastructure improvement. An example of their services is supporting farmers in their businesses and increasing productivity, so in the end the farm becomes a profitable business. Currently they work from Addis Ababa, implementing integrated rural development projects in five regions of Ethiopia. They are looking for possibilities to engage into profit making activities.
