
Capiz is a development center for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (mSMEs) in the Philippines. They do not work for profit but have the mission to hasten economic growth and development of the Cadiz province. In order to reach their goals they provide business development services to SMEs like:
Future goal is to create a one-stop-shop action Center where Capiz products can be sold. Nearly 300 individual farmers, fisherfolk, women and out-of-school youth are involved in the establishment of the Center, which has inspired them to continue their economic activities. Also, they have plans to facilitate micro-financing.
In order to establish Roxas City as the logistics hub of Nothern Panay, more investors have to be attracted. Your challenge is to evaluate feasibility for this idea and to prepare a master plan (including all facilities land, air, sea) to ensure its operation and sustainability. Together with the management team, you will work on a master plan for development, creating positive impact on the population.
You have experience in executing feasibility studies, preferably on a international level. Also, you have a background in business & logistics.
Also, to participate in an Expert Programme you need to have:
- at least five years of relevant working experience
- at least have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Participation in this programme is on a voluntary basis. International travelling expenses are to be paid by the participant. SharePeople charges the participant a reasonable fee for which he/she receives matching, preparation, training (intercultural and safety) and work materials. However, the local organization facilitates full board & lodging and local transportation for the participant. Personal coaching by a professional coach is optional in this programme but comes with additional costs.
